Fall in Dover

Trying to keep up the walking that I was doing in Pakenham I took a walk

around Silver Lake

there wasn't a lot of birdlife to be seen, just Canada Geese and Mallards

Some Fungi and

still some fall

colour

to be found.

The rows of maples that line the bike path were past their peak but still very pretty in their yellows and oranges.

The next morning on an unusually calm (for this time of year) lake

there was plenty of birdlife.

There must have been a school of fish as they were all wheeling and landing, splashing and diving, moving along the shore.

They were mostly varieties of gulls and Common Mergansers but also Cormorants and Buffleheads.

They gradually made their way East and the frenzy calmed down.
