Trying to keep up the walking that I was doing in Pakenham I took a walk
around Silver Lake |
there wasn't a lot of birdlife to be seen, just Canada Geese and Mallards |
Some Fungi and |
still some fall |
colour |
to be found. |
The rows of maples that line the bike path were past their peak but still very pretty in their yellows and oranges. |
The next morning on an unusually calm (for this time of year) lake |
there was plenty of birdlife. |
There must have been a school of fish as they were all wheeling and landing, splashing and diving, moving along the shore. |
They were mostly varieties of gulls and Common Mergansers but also Cormorants and Buffleheads. |
They gradually made their way East and the frenzy calmed down. |
