Valencia, Spain - they are jet lagged

The plan today was to be out of the house by 10, drive to the metro, take it into Valencia and do a walking tour. That did not happen, they, particularly Kristin were too tired to even contemplate that agenda. So Chris and I went grocery shopping, with the car which meant we could really stock up. The rest of the day was spent sleeping, napping, reading and

I finished my painting of the palms silhouetted against the sunset.

I am trying to walk every day (except when its raining) so went for a stroll down to the marina. This is the municipal building at the beach. Its all closed up.

In the summer there is a police presence,

a tourist office and a library as well as the municipal offices.

I walked out the beach, it is all sand at the end by the marina, no stones.

As you walk north the stones gradually increase

and are piled up in mounds in front of

the apartment.

I am still taking wave photos

and I think I need to stop getting resource material

and buckle down and start painting some.
