Long Point - Avery's first visit with "the family"

Aimee is in Ontario for a couple of weeks and she and Avery came to the cottage for a couple of days. This gave family members a chance to drop in and say hi. Si, Dan and Fi were the first to arrive but unfortunately I hadn't really got into picture taking mode yet and I only have a picture with Fiona with him. There was cuddling and carrying and playing on the floor with Si and Dan, but no evidence.
Fiona was a little cautious at first but they bonded over a bottle.
I had picked Laura up on Friday at the Brantford train station and she stayed for the weekend so lots of opportunities to get to know Avery and she enjoyed how animated he is.

Nicola and Dave visited on Saturday.
Dave decided to show him the bulldozer next door but he wasn't particularly impressed.
I remember Mike, as a toddler, spending all day on the front porch watching the heavy machinery
digging up St Andrew St in Paris. Avery will grow into it.
Nicky got stuck with the dead weight of a baby falling asleep.
Mum and Dad arrived after Nicola and Dave left and stayed overnight.

Avery getting quite interested in the camera.
Laura requested this shot, good idea.
It was great to have them both here for the weekend. Ample time for cuddling, rocking, feeding, walks in the stroller and generally laughing when he laughed.

The only family member who was not so sure of his welcome, was Rasta.
Curious but
not getting too close.
He loved the basket under the stroller though.
Either with or without Avery in it.
