Nicola and Dave came down for Canada Day (left Bronx in Doggy day care so they could relax)

| Nicola bought some hand sewing to do on a quilt which meany more bags for Rasta to explore. |
Canada Day started with light rain but by noon it cleared up and people started arriving at the beach.

| We got into the patriotic spirit. |
The weather can change quite rapidly at the lake, and it did.

| Wind and rain drove everyone off the beach |

| The water was a bizarre green when the sun came back out. | | | |

| People started to return to the beach. |

| The sky was constantly changing. |
When I went inside I noticed that the crystal vase, which had held a single lily stem, was knocked over, water on the counter and down onto the floor ???

| What? Why are you looking at me? The dog did it! (Why didn't they bring the dog, would have taken the heat off) |
