California, Palm Springs - art and laughter

When Eve sent me an email asking if there was anything in particular I wanted to do, one of the things I mentioned was art classes. So today we spent an afternoon in a water colour class.

Using a graphic sheet we traced a photograph onto watercolour paper.
We blocked out a crescent to be the moon and then put water over most of the paper and then created a colour wash.
3 hours later this was the end result. I thought it was a bit kitchy but the instructor was kind and called it stylistic.
In the evening we went to see a female impersonator. His character was Dame Edna and we laughed ourselves silly.

Meanwhile back in Port Dover ..........

high winds caused some damage.
