California - Golf and Pine Cones

Rick and Bruce played golf twice while visiting in Palm Springs. George joined them for one game and took these photos. I believe the course name is Shadow Creek.

The course was right up against the base of the mountains and beautiful.

The greens were lush with palm trees and grass interspersed with
sand, grasses and yucca

They saw, and fed, a Road Runner (looked just like the cartoon)

Kathy, Bruce, George, Rick and I also drove up into a pine forest in the mountains. Rick was searching for large pine cones that he had collected before to use as decoration back at the house.
