Canada Day weekend - 2018

Christine and Jason, Kristen and Noah and Nicola and Dave(for a couple of hours), joined me for the Canada Day weekend.
It was a very hot weekend and the beach was packed - umbrellas and sun tents,
and a variety of inflatable wildlife
on the beach,
in the air

and in the water we admired a swan, unicorn, peacock and various floating food items (pizza slice, lemon slice etc). We walked the beach, swam, sunbathed, ate, drank, played board games, read and inflated and tried out the paddleboard. A picture was taken of Nicky on it, but I haven't received it yet, so you'll have to take my word for it that she was upright for a few strokes of the paddle.
We were lucky to have slightly cooler nights and a breeze off the lake to offset the current heat wave. The beach was the place to be!

After everyone was gone, Rasta decided to prove he could still fit in a hoop.
