Algarve, Day 8 - taking it easy.

We decided today we would take it easy, recover from yesterdays jostling. Aimee swam at 7am but I slept until 8am. Partly because Mike called......Mike "You still gone", Me "yep", Mike "Where are you", Me "Portugal", Mike "What time is it there", Me "3am". Mike "Well, bye".

Morning spent down by the pool, reading, and painting something a bit easier.

Aimee was craving fish so we walked along the road from our hotel, checking the various menus. The "Chefs suggestion" was E8.50 but we went for the "Menu Complet" E12.

For the extra E3.50 we got bread, olives, half a bottle of wine each and dessert

as well as the main course. Aimee's Sole

and my Sea Bream.

We asked to have ours filleted but the lady at the next table did a great job of taking the bones out.

Rest of the afternoon was spent grocery shopping, reading on the balcony and, of course, blogging.

We have been trying out the various Douro wines as I remembered liking them before

but we tried this one a few days ago and it is now our "house wine". E3, about $4.50.
