Juniper Point Trail again

We have been so lucky with the weather. Rain in the forecast but every day we get periods of sun and are able to get a walk in.

We just did a short part of this trail last time, so this time, we went further. It is along the top of a ridge with a lot of smaller trees and low, scrubby evergreens. We wondered if it had been logged at some point in the past.

Half of the loop

is below the ridge which is marked by a line of

rocky escarpment.

Trees on either side of the trail arched across. Natures McDonalds symbol.

Not much to take pictures of but some fabulous fungi

to play with different compositions.

Away from the other boulders, this rock was very green.

Colour created by lichen and

moss.

About 3.5km in total.

We stopped again at Burleigh Falls to follow a trail we had seen before.

Why????

It didn't go far but gave us views of the lake.
