Maritime Roadtrip - Johnson Shore, PEI to Sydney, Nova Scotia.

We came down for breakfast and, after putting our orders in, I wandered around looking at the artwork. Painted by Mel's grandniece, Caverly Smith.

Mel and Jonsey go for a walk every morning.

This was my view at breakfast and wait, what is that white. I grabbed the binoculars (there is a set on every window sill)

Yes, Bald Eagle, just hanging out.

Breakfast came.

A second arrived

On the drive out

I got a bit closer, and they posed.

We drove out to the East Point Lighthouse, crazy rough water.

It was a long drive today, raining off and on, out of PEI, off the bridge and into Nova Scotia.

By 6pm we reached Brits, her fabulous house and Doug, the dog.

We had told Brit not to fuss but we had a great dinner, finished with a Pavlova, with home made lemon curd.

This picture is for Heather --- 2 cookie jars of Oat Cakes.
