Scotland - on the way to Skye, via Tyndrum.

Up, breakfast, pack the car and we set off for the Isle of  Skye, in miserable weather. Really the first full day of consistent rain and dismal light. Don drove up the M6 and right through Glasgow.

At the point in time that we were going to change drivers we couldn't find a place to stop.

I was trying to get a photo of the road sign....as well as various place names it just said "The North".

I took over driving just north of Glasgow and we stopped for a bite to eat on the shores of Loch Lomond.

A lookout structure above the little cafe.

We'll hope for better weather on our way back south.

A hydro electric plant uses water from lochs at higher elevations.

From the window of my hotel room in Tyndrum...my first Jackdaw.
