We are getting fitter and now walking almost every day. The weather is currently being cooperative; mostly sunny, 12 to 14 degrees.
We drove up to the top of the hill and parked in the same spot as when Chris, Jason, Cigi and I did this walk. |
We walked down to the little chapel |
Inside we could see that it was built right into the rock of the hillside. |
Rick trying to get his phone to translate the name of the chapel. |
Looking up from the old chapel to the new one. Why build a new one this close??? |
We walked until we saw the sea and then looped back |
through the Carob trees, |
past the field of goats |
and the pen of baby goats. |
The horses were roaming free again. |
We went a little off the main path to get pictures of the sheep |
and lambs. |
This one almost looks like a cross between a goat and a sheep. |
I spent the rest of the day working on a painting of this house in Kouklia. |
