Pissouri, Cyprus - it's official, we have water!

11 days of intermittent water have officially ended. According to a Facebook post from Marcos (runs the internet cafe, seems to have something to do with council, is the official communicator on I Love Pissouri fb page) the pipe is fixed and the water is reliable again.
Mick sent me a brief history of the Pissouri Residents Association, he and Anne were founding members.
"Back in the day! No none Cypriot knew what was going on, at all. All ex-pats stood alone and no problems were shared. Ex pats had no voice and were pushed around by officialdom..... 2 ex-pats, set up the PRA and developed a liaison between the non Cypriots and the Village office. There was a regular e-newsletter and good communication and mutual respect. The PRA  club house was set up for gathering and socializing....... " The organization evolved away from its original purpose and went through a period of poor communication until Marcos became "the savior of the Village" ( In quotes are direct quotes from Micks WhatsApp text, published with permission).

It had rained all night and most of the morning. In the afternoon there were periods of blue sky and sun and then the dark clouds and rain would roll back in.

It was a day to stay inside. I watched a YouTube video on painting an apple and tried the same technique on my still life on the dining table.
Doesn't look too bad if you stand about 6ft away and squint.
About 4pm the thick black clouds started to break up. I hope that bodes well for tomorrow.
