My first full day here it rained cats and dogs most of the day. Every time I thought it was stopping and that I could get out for a walk, it would start up again. It was actually fine for me as I was still jet lagged and didn't have a lot of energy. Finally, late afternoon, it stopped raining and started to clear.

I walked around the bay |
nearly blown off my feet at the south end where the wind came through the harbour mouth. |
Understandably, all the fishing boats were in. |
The far end of the commercial dock now seems to be dominated by huge power boats rather than sail boats. |
All of that rain was snow in the mountains. |
I did a little grocery shopping, trying to figure out again which stores were open when. The little grocery stores in Port de Soller choose different days to be closed and also seem to have slightly different opening and closing times.

Breakfast the next morning, I juiced one of Liz' oranges, delicious, tastes like Spain. |
I thought I would gradually post pictures of the apartment. This, obviously, is the kitchen. |
It is, by far, the best equipped kitchen I have ever rented. Loads of dishes, glassware, pots, pans, juicer, dishwasher, microwave and a coffee maker that uses pods. Liz had stocked it with coffee, wine, water , dish soap, dishwasher pods, oil, vinegar and herbs, even toilet paper and paper towels. These are all things I usually have to shop for immediately upon arriving. |
