No big agenda today, just relax, maybe walk around a little. We had coffee in a cafe and then set out up the hill behind the apartment so Eve could see some of the lovely narrow streets and the lookout.

In this part of Port de Soller (the oldest part I think), there are no straight roads to anywhere. You go up and then to go further up, you go down. Good for the thighs. Photo by Eve |

Pretty stone work, shutters and flowers. |

I love the old tile roofs. |

We walked up to the huge hotel that is on the top of the cliffs. Jumeirah Hotel and Spa. It looked like it was closed. |
We carried on along that road, still climbing, and walked through an area of expensive looking houses, all with fabulous views of mountains and/or sea. |
Further along the road and we were into terraces and the sound of sheep bells. We think we found the path up to the watchtower. We will check that out another day. The road took us back down the hill to the second roundabout and back to the bay. |
We had worked up an appetite. Time for Tapas: spring rolls, chicken satay, battered and fried artichoke hearts, grilled vegetables and goat cheese. |
Came back to the apartment and this pretty cat thought we were going to let him in. He sat ready to pounce as soon as the door was opened. |
He hung around outside even when we had shooed him away and gone inside. |
The rest of our day was spent reading. Eve with her ankle elevated (it is getting much better) and me on a beach chair in the sun.
